I have always enjoyed snowboarding. Perhaps it comes with the territory for me. I grew up in the upper Midwest. Now that I am no longer there, I often hear people complain about winter and the snow that comes with the season. Sometimes I feel as if I’m the only one who looks forward to snow.
I don’t care much for shoveling snow. I also don’t care much for scraping my windshield when there is a layer of ice on it. I also have grown unaccustomed to the cold even though for most of my life it did not affect me much. Seeing snow everywhere isn’t what is important to me. Snow to me means snowboarding.

As I write this, I recall my favorite snowboarding trip. Before I go into that, I should say that, for the traveler, there are plenty of snowboarding opportunities in many countries around the world. Sure, Canada has amazing mountains for this winter sport. But most people don’t realize that countries such as Japan or Argentina have incredible snowboarding ranges. The good thing about Argentina, in particular, is that when it is summer in the United States, it is winter in Argentina. To know more about Colorado Click Here
My favorite snowboarding trip was when I traveled to Colorado. Aspen, Vail, Winter Park, and Keystone are some of the big names when it comes to snowboarding in Colorado. As my plane landed in Denver, one cold December, I remember seeing the size of a massive mountain range. I was excited to get to my hotel and begin shredding the mountainside.
Even though I arrived just as the sun was rising, I was snowboarding only a few hours later. It was a time in my life that I cherish to this day. I hope to revisit Colorado at some point in the future. Until then, I’ll be happy with practicing on some smaller mountains on the east coast.
